ABOUT THE FEEL GOOD BUILDING
Feel good about going to work. Feel part of a community of people doing good things.
The Feel Good Building is a pioneering co-working space in Newquay. An innovative hub where work and social lives fuse. A vibrant place with like-minded people, values-led businesses and the environment at its heart.
Every detail has been designed to make you feel good: Plant installations, light-filled spaces, sunshine-yellow walls and sensory flooring. A cool bar and lounge, pool table, yoga studio and kitchen. Great coffee, Bali-inspired lunch options, beach walks and after-work beers are part of daily office life.
The Feel Good Building is the creation of local business innovators, John Pearce and Tom Stringer. It was their vision to have a space in their home town where people can achieve their dreams, relax and be social.
“It doesn’t feel like going into the office. It feels like we’re friends and family. We have the space and facilities to enjoy each other’s time.”
Roger Mansfield, author of The Surfing Tribe, told us all about the history of the Feel Good Building. Back in 1965 it was the production base for The European Surfing Co. It was right here that the company made the first fibreglass surfboards on an industrial scale. Pioneering the precision use of resins and fine-grain fibreglass cloths. Fast-forward half a century and today, a new resin-product pioneer, Oltco, has returned to the very same space. And it feels good to be part of Newquay’s rich surfing history.

Footsteps from the ocean, the Feel Good Building is filled with a bunch of ocean-loving folk. We’re passionate about the sea and keeping it clean. Outside you’re greeted by a mural of Poseidon the God of Water, cleaning the ocean. A master-piece created by the talented local artist Joe Greenway. It raises awareness for cleaner oceans. It looks incredible. It makes you feel good when you come into work. The Feel Good Building is also a drop-off point for beach plastic collections. Plus, all that waste will be recycled and turned into beautiful driveways by Oltco. Doesn’t that feel good?
